Nuclear fluid densimeter
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002573
A downhole instrument that measures the density of fluids in a wellbore using nuclear radiation. It typically employs a gamma ray source and detector to determine fluid density by observing the attenuation of gamma rays. This tool is used to identify different fluid phases and their proportions in multiphase flow.
