Multipass method
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002477
A production logging technique where measurements are taken at multiple logging speeds or in both upward and downward directions. This approach allows for the differentiation of fluid velocities and the identification of flow regimes by analyzing how sensor responses change with tool movement. It is often employed to resolve complex flow profiles in deviated wells.
