Bean

A small, removable orifice or choke installed in a flow line to restrict fluid flow and regulate production rates or maintain backpressure. It creates a pressure drop across the device, controlling the volume of oil, gas, and water produced from a well. Beans are available in fixed sizes or as adjustable chokes.
