Boolean simulation

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000401

A geostatistical modeling technique that represents geological features as discrete objects, such as channels or shale bodies, distributed randomly or according to specific rules within a reservoir model. This method is particularly useful for modeling discontinuous features that cannot be easily represented by continuous variables. The simulation generates multiple realizations of the reservoir architecture, reflecting geological uncertainty.
