Desilter

A hydrocyclone unit designed to remove silt-sized solid particles from drilling fluid. It uses centrifugal force to separate fine solids that are smaller than those removed by a desander. Desilters are positioned downstream from desanders in the mud cleaning system to further refine the drilling fluid.
