Dip tube

A tube extending from the top of a vessel or tank down into the liquid contents, used for sampling, level measurement, or for withdrawing liquid from a specific depth. It allows for the extraction of a representative sample or for the controlled removal of fluid without disturbing the surface. Dip tubes are common in storage tanks, reactors, and process vessels in refineries and chemical plants.
