Domainal structure
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004295
A structure built from several domains laid over one another, each of differing size or wavelength, rather than from a single set of separate regions. Each domain carries variation at its own scale, so a property map or log shows trends at more than one wavelength at once. Separating the domains, for example by filtering, lets each scale be studied on its own.
