Dynamic-aging test
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001231
A laboratory procedure that simulates the thermal and mechanical stresses a drilling fluid experiences downhole. The fluid sample is heated and agitated under pressure for a specified period, typically 16 hours, to evaluate its stability and performance. This test assesses how the fluid's properties, such as rheology and filtration, change under simulated wellbore conditions.
