Filter-cake quality

A qualitative and quantitative assessment of the physical characteristics and performance of the filter cake formed by a drilling fluid on a permeable surface. It includes factors such as thickness, permeability, toughness, and slickness, which influence fluid loss control and wellbore stability. A thin, tough, and low-permeability filter cake is generally desired for effective drilling operations.
