Flow stream
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001485
The movement of produced fluids, such as oil, gas, and water, from the reservoir through the wellbore, surface pipelines, and processing facilities. This stream is a multiphase mixture that changes in composition, pressure, and temperature as it travels from the formation to the point of sale or disposal. Flow stream analysis involves measuring rates, pressures, and fluid properties to monitor well performance and manage production operations.
