Flowing well
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001491
A well that produces oil, gas, or water without the aid of artificial lift mechanisms, driven solely by the natural reservoir pressure. The reservoir energy is sufficient to overcome friction and hydrostatic head to bring fluids to the surface. Such wells are typically found in reservoirs with high initial pressure and good permeability.
