Foamed cement
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001525
A lightweight cement slurry created by injecting nitrogen gas or air into a cement mixture containing a foaming agent. This process reduces the density of the cement, making it suitable for cementing weak or highly permeable formations where conventional heavy slurries could cause fracturing. It also provides excellent thermal insulation properties.
