Reduced-water slurry
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003071
A cement slurry formulated with a lower water-to-cement ratio than conventional slurries, resulting in higher strength and lower permeability. This is achieved by using superplasticizers or dispersants to maintain pumpability despite the reduced water content. These slurries are often used for remedial cementing or in challenging wellbore conditions.
