Pumpability

The ability of a fluid, such as drilling mud or cement slurry, to be circulated through the wellbore and surface equipment without excessive pressure or degradation. It is a measure of how easily the fluid can be moved and placed at the desired location. Factors affecting pumpability include viscosity, yield point, and gel strength.
