Geophone interval
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001682
The distance between individual geophones or geophone arrays along a seismic receiver line. This spacing determines the spatial sampling of the seismic wavefield and influences the resolution of the acquired data. Typical geophone intervals range from a few meters to tens of meters, depending on the target depth and desired imaging detail.
