Heater

A piece of equipment used to raise the temperature of crude oil, natural gas, or other fluids in production facilities. Heating can reduce fluid viscosity, prevent hydrate formation, or aid in the separation of oil and water. Common types include indirect fired heaters and direct fired heaters.
