Inclination

The angle of deviation of a wellbore from a true vertical path, measured in degrees. It is one of the two primary components, along with azimuth, used to describe the trajectory of a directional well. An inclination of 0 degrees represents a perfectly vertical well, while an inclination of 90 degrees represents a perfectly horizontal well.
