Interval method
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002020
A technique in production logging that measures fluid velocity or holdup over a defined vertical section of the wellbore. This method involves deploying sensors at two different depths and recording the time it takes for a tracer or fluid front to travel between them. It provides an average measurement across the interval rather than a point measurement.
