Mast unit

A self-erecting, portable derrick structure used on workover rigs and smaller drilling rigs to support the hoisting system. It consists of telescoping sections that can be raised and lowered hydraulically, providing the necessary height for running and pulling tubulars. Mast units are designed for rapid mobilization and demobilization between well sites.
