N
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002499
The saturation exponent in Archie's equation, which relates formation resistivity to water saturation. It accounts for the tortuosity and connectivity of the pore network and typically ranges from 1.8 to 2.2 for most reservoir rocks. The value of 'n' is determined from laboratory measurements on core samples.
