Oil/brine ratio

The volumetric proportion of oil to brine in an oil-based drilling fluid or emulsion. This ratio is a key parameter for controlling the fluid's rheological properties, emulsion stability, and water activity. It is often expressed as a percentage or a simple ratio, such as 80/20 oil to brine.
