Pipe rack

A designated area on the rig floor or adjacent to it where sections of drill pipe, casing, or tubing are stored horizontally before being run into the well or after being pulled out. This area is designed for safe and organized handling of tubular goods. Pipe racks often feature V-doors for easy access to the rig floor.
