Radial faulting
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003030
A pattern of faults that diverge outward from a central point, often associated with structural domes, intrusive bodies, or impact craters. These faults can create pathways for fluid migration or form traps for hydrocarbon accumulation. Radial fault systems are frequently observed around salt diapirs or volcanic centers.
