Sand bailer

A specialized tool run into a wellbore on wireline to remove loose sand, debris, or other fill that has accumulated at the bottom of the well. It operates by trapping the solids as it is retrieved, preventing them from falling back into the well. This device is often used to clean out perforations or the rat hole before running downhole equipment.
