Steam trap
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003609
A mechanical device designed to discharge condensate and non-condensable gases from a steam system while preventing the escape of live steam. In steam injection enhanced oil recovery, these devices are installed in the surface steam distribution network to maintain steam quality and efficiency.
