Tubing-conveyed perforating, a method for creating holes in the casing and cement sheath of a wellbore to establish communication with the reservoir. The perforating guns are run into the well on the production tubing string, allowing for precise positioning and high shot density. This technique is often used in highly deviated or horizontal wells where wireline conveyance is difficult.
