Walsh-Hadamard transform
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004079
A non-sinusoidal, orthogonal transform that decomposes a signal into a set of Walsh functions, which are square waves with values of +1 or -1. It is similar to the Fourier transform but uses rectangular basis functions instead of sinusoidal ones. This transform is applied in signal processing for data compression, filtering, and spectral analysis, particularly in situations where computational efficiency is a priority.
