Extruder

The assembly on a fused deposition modeling (FDM) or fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printer responsible for melting and depositing the build material. It typically consists of a motor, a drive gear, a hot end, and a nozzle. The extruder precisely controls the flow of molten plastic onto the build plate.
