Y-axis
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000419
The secondary horizontal direction of movement within the build volume of an additive manufacturing system. This axis typically represents the front-to-back motion of the print head or the build plate, perpendicular to the X-axis. Together with the X-axis, it defines the horizontal plane for depositing material layers.
