Accidental exposure

An unintended contact with a chemical, biological, or physical agent that results in absorption into the body or direct interaction with tissues. This exposure can occur through inhalation, ingestion, dermal contact, or injection. Such incidents are often unplanned and can lead to adverse health effects depending on the agent and duration of contact.
