Accuracy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000117
The closeness of agreement between a measured quantity value and a true quantity value of a measurand. It describes how well a measurement result reflects the actual value of the property being measured. High accuracy implies small systematic errors, and it is often assessed through calibration against certified reference materials.
