All-glass heated inlet system
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000420
A sample introduction interface for a mass spectrometer constructed entirely of glass and maintained at an elevated temperature. This system is designed to vaporize liquid or solid samples and transport the resulting gas-phase molecules into the ion source without thermal decomposition or catalytic reactions that can occur on metal surfaces. Such systems are frequently used for the analysis of thermally labile or reactive compounds.
