Thermally stimulated depolarisation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011953

A thermal analysis technique that measures the depolarization current or charge released from a previously polarized dielectric material as it is heated at a controlled rate. This process reveals information about the relaxation processes and trap states within the material. It is closely related to thermally stimulated current measurements.
