Thermally stimulated current
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011952
A thermal analysis technique that measures the current generated in a dielectric material as it is heated at a controlled rate after being polarized at a lower temperature. The current peaks observed correspond to the release of trapped charges or the reorientation of dipoles. This method is used to characterize charge trapping and relaxation phenomena.
