After mass analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000320
The total ion current measured after mass analysis, that is the combined current of every ion that contributes to a spectrum once the ions have been separated according to mass-to-charge ratio. It is also called the reconstructed ion current. It contrasts with the current summed over all ions of one sign before mass analysis, which is taken before any separation by mass.
