Amniotic cavity

The fluid-filled sac enclosed by the amnion, which surrounds and protects the developing embryo or fetus during gestation. This cavity contains amniotic fluid, providing a cushion against physical trauma and allowing for fetal movement and growth. It is a central component of the larger amniotic sac.
