Androgenic

Describing a substance or effect that promotes the development of male characteristics, such as the growth of facial hair, deepening of the voice, and increased muscle mass. This action is mediated through binding to androgen receptors in target tissues. Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone with strong androgenic properties.
