Anionic group-transfer polymerization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000613
A living polymerization technique where the propagating species is an anion, and the active center is transferred from the initiator to the monomer and then along the growing chain. This method allows for precise control over molecular weight and polydispersity. It is particularly effective for the polymerization of methacrylates.
