Living coordination polymerization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006716
A coordination polymerization process where the active centers remain viable throughout the reaction, and chain transfer and termination are negligible. This allows for precise control over polymer molecular weight, polydispersity, and architecture. It is often achieved using specific transition metal catalysts, such as Ziegler-Natta catalysts under controlled conditions.
