Homogeneous catalysis coordination polymerization

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005362

A type of coordination polymerization where the active catalyst species are dissolved uniformly in the reaction medium, forming a single phase with the monomers. This often leads to high activity and selectivity in polymer synthesis, allowing for precise control over polymer architecture. Metallocene catalysts are a well-known class of homogeneous coordination polymerization catalysts.
