Controlled anionic polymerization

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002525

An anionic polymerization process where the active chain ends remain viable for extended periods, allowing for precise control over molecular weight, polydispersity, and polymer architecture. This is achieved by minimizing chain transfer and termination reactions. Living anionic polymerization is a prominent example of this technique.
