Living copolymerization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006717
A chain copolymerization in which chain termination and chain transfer reactions are absent. The propagating chains retain their ability to react with monomers for an extended period, growing linearly with monomer addition. This method produces copolymers with a very narrow molar mass distribution, where the Polydispersity Index (PDI) approaches a value of 1.0.
