Blood cell

A cellular component found in blood, responsible for specific physiological functions within the circulatory system. These cells are produced primarily in the bone marrow and have a limited lifespan, requiring continuous replenishment. The three main types are erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets).
