Blood cell count

A quantitative measurement of the number of specific cell types present in a given volume of blood. This analytical procedure determines the concentrations of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. A complete blood count (CBC) is a routine diagnostic test that provides information about a person's overall health and can detect a range of disorders.
