Leukocytopenia
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006535
A medical condition indicating a lower than normal count of white blood cells, also known as leukocytes, in the circulating blood. This reduction can compromise the body's immune response, making an individual more susceptible to infections. The normal range for white blood cell count typically falls between 4,000 and 11,000 cells per microliter of blood.
