Leukocyte
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006532
A type of white blood cell that circulates in the blood and lymphatic system, forming a key component of the immune system. These cells identify and destroy foreign invaders, remove cellular debris, and contribute to inflammatory responses.
