Granulocyte
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004997
A type of white blood cell characterized by the presence of granules in its cytoplasm, which contain enzymes and other antimicrobial compounds. These cells are a key component of the innate immune system, providing a rapid response to infection and inflammation.
