Breakdown threshold fluence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001487
The minimum radiant exposure (energy per unit area) of a laser pulse required to induce optical breakdown or plasma formation in a material. Below this fluence, the material remains largely unaffected by the laser irradiation. This parameter is typically expressed in joules per square centimeter (J/cm²).
