Ceramic yield
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001807
The mass percentage of ceramic material obtained after the pyrolysis of a ceramic precursor, relative to the initial mass of the precursor. This value indicates the efficiency of the conversion process from the precursor to the final ceramic product. A higher ceramic yield signifies less mass loss during the ceramization process.
