Compost
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002338
An organic material produced through the controlled biological decomposition of organic matter, typically by microorganisms under aerobic conditions. It is rich in humus and nutrients, serving as a soil amendment to improve soil structure and fertility. The process of composting transforms biodegradable waste into a stable, nutrient-rich product.
